He does not even think about the continued existence of Switzerland, or what Switzerland is at all. He needs to be left on the upper reaches of the Matterhorn in nothing but his undershorts for several days to have time to think about it. It might help him gain perspective. They had a law that only allowed them to export what they considered to be obsoleted techhology. My company, Hamilton Watch, used to buy Swiss automatic screw machines (Tournos) and assembly machines from them, but they could not export anything that was not at least a 10 year old design. They were smart then; it is clear that with people like Mr. Rentsch running things today, they have lost their minds. What a pity!
