Service note

If one enjoys writing as I do, then part of the fun in blogging lies in building up a regular readership. According to the Web server’s logs the Economic Nationalist now enjoys a readership of a thousand distinct readers a month. Not bad, as such things go, I think. Naturally I appreciate your reading, and believe and hope that you will have found the reading edifying.

I would personally thank the numerous bloggers and other journalists who have hyperlinked the Economic Nationalist, plus readers (mostly unknown to me) who have referred their family and friends. Such acts alone have made it possible for most of you readers to discover the site.

The rhythm of life unfortunately does not always accommodate regular amateur blogging. I am unusually fortunate in this apparently deep economic recession, when so many of our countrymen are losing their jobs, to have a sudden surfeit of paying work. “Make hay while the sun shines!” So the saying goes. This, rather than a lack of interesting economic and cultural developments, explains the scarcity of posting of late, for money earned now can finance amateur blogging later on.

Keep the blog bookmarked! Its article volume ought to pick back up at irregular intervals eventually. In the meantime, have you visited Stephen Hopewell’s outstanding Heritage American? If not, I would recommend it to you.
