To rebalance immigration
In 1965 Ted Kennedy, then in his first term as U.S. senator from Massachusetts, said that the Immigration Act of that year would never alter America’s racial makeup. This blog takes Mr. Kennedy at his word, and calls on Congress to amend the Immigration Act forthwith, letting further immigrants be chosen to restore the racial balance which existed in 1965.
By my back-of-the-envelope estimate, this means immigration from Europe exclusively during the rest of the twenty-first century, followed by immigration from Europe and Africa during the twenty-second.
Don’t like the proposal? Fair enough. The blog would settle for a simple U.S. immigration moratorium. However, if the intent or effect of current U.S. immigration policy is to force white Americans to become a minority in our own country, then this blog does not consent.

You are making too much sense here. Conventional wisdom will brand you a “racist,” Howard.
The moratorium is probably the more realistic policy. Europe no longer produces enough whites for the other option. Besides, the United States no longer has an empty frontier to settle, so no longer needs an ever increasing population to settle it.
I am not old enough to remember 1965, but I do remember the Carter and Reagan eras. I think that we all thought then that we could assimilate almost any number of people of any language, religion or culture, and that race did not matter. I think that we can still assimilate the immigrants who are already here, but it isn’t easy and we need the time to do it.
I am also old enough to remember southern California the way that it was. The change it has undergone in thirty short years is bone-chilling. Immigration did this.

What about immigration from Argentina? It is the whitest country on the planet-mostly Italian, Spaniard, Irish, German, etc, very few mestizo like Central American. ANd most of it’s population is taught english as a second language.
